With design inspiration from Dale Earnhardt Jr, this restoration project is a combination of an El Camino and a Laguna, hence the name El Laguna. It is a 1976 Stock El Camino body, with a Laguna front end. This one-of-a-kind build features NASCAR style exhaust, full racing seats with five-point safety harness, custom designed Detroit Speed Suspension, and a 383-cubic inch Chevrolet Stroker motor with aluminum heads. Dale Earnhardt Jr. actually chose this combination of cars because they were two of his favorites, and is even the one who gave it the name of El Laguna. This project was commissioned by Valvoline to be used as a giveaway.
